Jeffrey Seglin

Opinion Writing, Business Writing

Jeffrey Seglin is a Senior Lecturer in Public Policy, Emeritus, at Harvard Kennedy School where he served as the Director of the Communications Program. He regularly writes and speaks on ethics and other topics, with expertise in Writing, Editing, and Ethics in Business, Media, and Decision-Making.​

Jeffrey’s previous experience includes Director of the Graduate Program in Publishing and Writing and Permanent Associate Professor at Emerson College, Boston (1999-2011) and he also served as a resident scholar at the Center for the Study of Values in Public Life at Harvard (1998-99).​

In addition to his weekly ethics columns for Tribune Media, Jeffrey has produced several books including: “The Simple Art of Business Etiquette: How to Rise to the Top by Playing Nice” (2016), and “The Good, the Bad, and Your Business: Choosing right when ethical dilemmas pull you apart” (2000).​

Jeffrey holds a Master’s in Theological Studies from Harvard, and a BA in English from Bethany College.​
